Company Policy

I- Content & Image Policy

• 1.1 FSB Web Design will not publish any content that is not provided by the customer directly. We will not plagiarize any content off any website or any other publications that you do not have rights to.

 

• 1.2 FSB Web Design will not publish any images that are not provided by the customer directly. We will not plagiarize any images off any website or any other publications that you do not have rights to.

 

 

• 1.3 We will not be responsible for any content or images provided by the customer. Ex. Spelling errors, grammar mistakes, punctuation, etc.

 

• 1.4 FSB Web Design will not be responsible for any false or misleading information on any website that the content has been provided for by the customer.

 

• 1.5 FSB Web Design holds the right to display, share, and expose any website built on our website, business cards, or any other media in print or online without any notice.

 

II- Hosting & Maintenance Guidelines

 

• 2.1You will be automatically enrolled in our basic maintenance plan upon purchase of any website (unless instructed otherwise).

 

• 2.2 Hosting (keeps your site online) is included with maintenance. If you cancel maintenance without proper arrangements, your site will be taken down.
  
  

• 2.3 Maintenance will only cover minor changes (not for constant updating- only up to 5 times per month). This does not include any design or page changes. With this package we will change/ fix; Minor site errors, picture changes, small additional features, and site malfunctions. Furthermore, this will not be taken care of instantly, there is no time guarantee. (usually resolved within 72 hours)

 

• 2.4 If you do not enroll in maintenance upon website completion, we will not service, inspect, or revise your site in any way.

 

• 2.5 If you choose not to enroll in maintenance upon website completion and later on you decide you want maintenance, there will be a $100 setup fee and website inspection (if website does not pass website inspection, there may be additional fees).

 

• 2.6 A credit card is required on file to begin maintenance, and will be charged automatically every month on the date that falls 5 days after your website completion date.

 

• 2.7 If enrolled in our maintenance plan and would like us to transfer and setup your site to a new host, there will be a $150 transfer and setup fee.

 

• 2.8 Site malfunctions or website down periods will be taken care of at no cost to you immediately, with any of our plans.

 

• 2.9 The FSB Web Design staff takes great pride in our speedy and efficient services, if a website in not completed after 60 working hours of a design decision, due to lack of communication, failure to provide sufficient content/images, decision changes/ hesitations, etc. We will automatically shift your account into a maintenance status.

 

• 2.10 FSB Web Design is not responsible for incompatible hosts, software, databases, or coding.

 

• 2.11 Maintenance emails must be specific and directly target the problem/change. We will NOT be responsible for in-direct support claims nor will we take action on them.

 

• 2.12 For technical support, we offer in person meetings and remote control support (over the phone support claims will not be addressed immediately).

 

III- Web Design

 

• 3.1 Content & Image Policy will be upheld.

 

• 3.2 The FSB Web Design staff takes great pride in our speedy and efficient services, if a website in not completed after 60 working hours of a design decision, due to lack of communication, failure to provide sufficient content/images, decision changes/ hesitations, etc. your site will be considered complete until further arrangements have been made.

 

• 3.3 FSB Web Design will design a custom template until your satisfaction is achieved, we will re-design and modify a template as much as you see fit. In addition, your design will not be used for any other website or publication. Furthermore, once a design is chosen, and work has begun, there will be an additional fee for any last minute design changes.

 

• 3.4 In addition, there will be an added charge for special requests. Ex. different banners on each page, custom functions, etc. This will be decided on a case by case basis, and we must be informed of these details in advance.

 

• 3.5 You will be charged a flat base price for your website design, and an individual price for each added feature.

 

• 3.6 For advanced websites, there will be a $50 user control and training fee added when enrolled.

 

• 3.7 You have full ownership of any website created for you or your company.

 

• 3.8 FSB Web Design will guarantee a complete lesson/demonstration on all website features, including a content management system, until you feel comfortable using it yourself (this will include 1 in person meeting with your account manager, and as many online training sessions as you desire).

 

• 3.9 An appointment is needed to meet with your account manager in any situation.

 

• 3.10 During the website construction, you will not have administrator access to the website. In addition, the website will not be live for the public, and can only be seen by you with specified user names and passwords that will be provided to you. Once you have received a temporary, it will only be active for 24 hours, in that time you have the opportunity to check and review your website, and give us feedback.

 

• 3.11 A completion form is required for each invoice once completed.

 

• 3.12 You will not be given administrative access, training, maintenance, or a published site until a completion for has been accepted.

 

• 3.13 In order to decline a completion form, a detailed explanation is required in the space provided so that we may correct the issue and re submit the form.

 

• 3.14 Once a completion form has been signed and accepted, any additional changes must fall under your maintenance package (unless advised otherwise).
  
  

• 3.15 Once the website is complete you will have 3 opportunities to inspect the website and request changes (that have been included on that particular invoice). After the said amount your website will automatically be considered complete.
  
  
• 3.16 There will be $75 charge to remove our link from your website.

 

IV- Search Engine Marketing

 

• 4.1 Although we are confident in our work, for legal purposes, we cannot guarantee page placement on any search engine or reference site. In addition, we cannot guarantee new customer/ contacts with our service.

 

• 4.2 No contract is needed to enroll, and you may cancel at any time (no refunds will be given once marketing has started).

 

• 4.3 You are responsible to track progress and customer results.

 

• 4.4 FSB Web Design offers custom written articles with your package. If you would like to provide your own articles they must uphold our Content & Image Policy to its fullest intent.

 

• 4.5 For custom optimization plans, they will be considered on a case by case basis. Ex. only out of country results, specific demographic target.

 

• 4.6 We guarantee our work as agreed on your service agreement.

 

• 4.7 We require a credit card on file, which will automatically be charged each month on the day you enrolled.

 

V- Billing/ Payment

 

• 5.1 Accounts that are past due and have extended past their grace period will be suspended indefinitely. Ex. website will be taken down; search engine marketing services will be suspended.

 

• 5.2 Website payment is due in full, prior to website construction (unless otherwise instructed by account specialist).

 

• 5.3 All payments must be made to FSB Web Design, LLC. Directly, in the form of check, cash (if in person), credit/ debit card, or money order.

 

• 5.4 If for any reason payment cannot be made, you are expected to report this to a FSB Web Design representative.

 

• 5.5 It is not our responsibility to make sure payment is made on time.

 

• 5.6 Once payment is made there will be NO REFUNDS.

 

• 5.7 Payment must be made in full each month, unless instructed otherwise.
